Teavana Mother’s Love Yixing Teapot

8 February 2010 in Tea Pots

The name Mother’s Love is derived from its symbolic maternal design. The body of the pot is designed as a large dragon egg to symbolize birth and new beginnings. A defenseless newborn dragon sits on the lid holding the pearl of wisdom in its mouth. The detailed handle has been elegantly carved into a fierce, fully matured mother dragon, who is crouched and prepared to protect the well being of her newborn child. This lovely teapot is designed to recognize the sacrifices a mother makes for her children. Holds 37 ounces.
